Guiding You Through Your “Next Step”

This one is for those students who just completed their O’Levels or A’Leveles. What is your next step?

Over the past year, the rapid change in the lives of students and youth have taken a toll on how we perceive our future. We have seen many people go jobless, a rise in mental health issues especially among teenagers, and a heavy dependency on screens to pass our time. Even more concerningly, students feel demotivated to even look for higher studies options or go for a job interview because they are not educated and prepared for it.

During uncertain times like this, it is important to have constructive interactions and engagements that will bring hope of a better future and educate us on the opportunities that are available outside the foggy areas we have been looking at.

Clique College is organizing the second edition of the Career Guidance & Higher Education Expo - ‘Next Step’ open for all recent graduates from both O’Levels and A’Levels. The expo will be fully virtual in lieu of the ongoing pandemic and will be held from June 23 – July 13, 2021.

An interesting lineup of 20 experienced and leading professionals from the Maldives and overseas will be joining the expo this year. These motivational leaders, mentors, and trainers will each guide you through a different component of career guidance. Aimed to help participants grasp a better understanding of how to face their challenges, the sessions will cover topics such as current job market, career opportunities and planning for the short and long term, and choosing to go for higher studies, and many more.

Furthermore, the expo is a golden opportunity for those who wish to take a gap year and explore their interests in the field. Students will get exposure to volunteer opportunities, sports and fitness, baking, grooming and beauty, and many other fields. Leading employers will also be taking part in the expo and providing more information to students regarding such opportunities available. Additionally, you will get to explore the higher education opportunities and scholarships available at Clique College.
