BML Open For Card Collection, All Other Services Provided Online This Week

From June 20 – 24, 2021, Bank of Maldives will be providing services to customers according to the below details. The changes are pertaining to the Health Protection Agency measures currently in place in the Greater Male Region, in efforts to curb the virus spread.

BML branches and service centers will remain closed during this week except for the Customer Service Centre that will be providing card collection services on a strict appointment only basis. The branch will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m on weekdays. Alternatively, the Hulhumale Branch will also open for the service for customers residing in Hulhumale but only on the selected days of Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

All ATMs are operational for cash withdrawal and deposits. BML urges customers to obtain all necessary permits and approvals before visiting ATMs. The daily deposit limit is MVR 100,000 for individuals and MVR 500,000 for businesses.

Continued support for essential services will be provided as well, via the online platforms of BML. This includes processing requests for international transfers and payroll processing via email, and processing of BML cheques deposited at ATMs.

Following the MMA operational changes, local bank transfers via ACH, RTGS and clearing of other bank cheques will be provided on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
