High Commission of India in Maldives will be hosting a webinar targeted toward Maldivian and Indian Travel Associations under the title ‘India-Maldives Travel Connect’. The webinar is scheduled to be held on 13th October at 1000 Hours (Maldivian Time); being 1030 Hours (Indian Time) which is estimated to last for a duration of 2 hours. A detailed agenda for the event has already been published comprising of two main sessions; the Opening Session and Interactive Session in which each session will run for 60 minutes.
The following Travel Associations from both countries are confirmed to be taking part in the Webinar;
· Maldives Marketing & Public Relation Corporation (MMPRC)
· Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI)
· Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI)
· Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO)
· Society of Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE)
· Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)
· Association of Travel Agents (ATA)
· Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO)
During the Opening Session, High Commissioner of India to the Maldives, Mr. Sunjar Sudhir is set to deliver the opening remarks which will be followed by the delivery of keynotes from Tourism Minister of Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom. Representative heads from aforementioned Travel Associations will also be addressing the audience during the Opening Session.
The Interactive Session as entailed by the name will be interactive to the audience. Six travel associations will deliver presentations where the last 20 minutes of the session will be allocated for Questions and Answers.
