Thaani’s Take on UEFA EURO 2020 – Coral Glass Community Foari

Her passion for football took off when Fathimath Thaani Latheef played her first game with her brother around the house. Since then, Thaani could be spotted a mile away when it comes to who’s up for a game of football.  
 
Joining our coverage, Thaani said that she is supporting Germany this year. Most of her family members are supporters of Brazil and thinking she should choose a different team, Thaani found her attraction towards Germany because the team is strong and plays well. Ideally, Thaani will always be humble supporter of the Maldivian National Football team.  
 
Even though Germany’s first match didn’t quite turn around in their favor, Thaani believes that the game was a decent play. She too misses Ozil on the field but is cheering for Toni Kroos to show his magic down the tournament. If the team could pass against France and Portugal, Thaani believes Germany could lift the cup for EURO 2020.  
 
Having to tune in to the matches at home, Thaani and her housemates make sure they have their hype on when Germany plays.
