SBI Male’ Branch Reopens with State-of-the-art Renovation

Yesterday, State Bank of India Male’ Branch has resumed operations in its modern renovated office in the Gadhagey Mohamedfulhu Building. The office premise was burnt beyond use in a café' fire in the adjacent building last year in August.

In line with the Health Protection Agency and M.M.A guidelines, the bank will be operating from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. According to the bank’s website, customers are requested to make appointments for their visit, provided on a first-come-first-serve basis, via the website.

Even though operations have resumed on 2 floors, the bank states that work is in progress to resume operation on the ground floor and the third floor for all services by next week. As of now, only basic services such as account opening and cheque book issuance are being provided to customers. Progress is in line to reopen the ATM services by next week as well.
