Maldives Transport Authority Opens a Self-Collection Station

Maldives Transport Authority has unveiled their premier self-service for customers with the launch of a self-collection station. Located on the second floor of the office at M. Chan’beylee Villa, the station will remove the hustle of waiting in long queues and provide convenience for its customers.  
 
The service was inaugurated by the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Aishath Nahula. Customers can collect license cards and vehicle registry document at the station.  
 
Since May 5, new license issuing has been discontinued in the midst of the last surge of Covid19 in the Male’ region. However, license renewing and services related to vehicle registration can be done online. The Ministry has further allowed the usage of vehicle licenses that expired post May 1, 2021 til the end of July.
