Two Maldivian Police Officers Abroad Commended for Their Acts of Bravery is Saving a Drowning Family

Chief Inspector of Police Ahmed Abdul Azeez & Chief Inspector of Police Mohamed Nazim are two Officers of the Maldives Police Service who are currently in India, participating in the IPS training at The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA).  

During their visit to Lakshadweep islands on a study-tour, both officers along with 6 other trainees from India and Bhutan, showed selfless bravery in recuing a family of 4, including 2 children, from a drowning incident at sea. Their valiant act has been recognized with much appreciation from the academy, Indian officials in the Maldives, and the Maldives Police.  

It is indeed heartwarming to witness the gallant nature from our uniformed soldiers.
