Maldivian Flights to Dhaka Cancelled Until Further Notice

An official announcement by the national airline, Maldivian states that all flights to the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka will cancelled until further notice, effective from tomorrow, June 4, 2021 onwards. 

In efforts of managing the crippling effects of Covid19, the destination has announced a suspension of passenger flights to and from Maldives to Bangladesh. The country has reported over 804,000 positive cases since the onset of the pandemic, with death tolls exceeding 12,000.  

The last flight out onboard Maldivian from Male’ to Dhaka was today at 2.45 p.m.
