Maldives Immigration has commenced a work once again to take action against foreigners who are in the Greater Male’ Region without a work visa and those who disobey curfew rules. Foreigners who roam outside during curfew hours will be identified by the Police and handed over to Immigration to be taken to the Detention Center in Hulhumale Phase Two. This also includes those who are residing without proper documentation and work visa. After identification, work will be in progress to deport those who fit the profile accordingly.

MPL is assisting the initiative as a transport provider for the detainees to the Detention Center in Hulhumale Phase Two.
