The Two-Day Palestine Relief Charity Cup Gaming Event raises MVR 120,000 for the Palestine Relief Fund

What once started as a passion project by an enthusiastic group of gamers, E2S Gaming today represents the Maldivian gaming community on a global scale. Last Wednesday, E2S Gaming announced an ambitious fundraiser gaming event that was dedicated to show support of the Maldivian gaming community for Palestine that was mercilessly under the attack of Israel.  

The Palestine Relief Charity Cup was open for all gamers who registered to participate in the competition. A donation link was also set up for any participants who wished to make donations to the fundraiser. In partnership with International Aid Campaign’s Maldivian branch, the funds collected through registration and donations will be given to the Gaza Relief Fund.  

Despite the 1-day window given for registrations, massive support poured in from the PUBGM esports clubs and clans in the Maldives who collectively numbered over thousands of players joining together to make the event a success. The gaming event was live-streamed from May 21 to 22, with transparent details of the live donation count being included in the stream. E2S Gaming also announced that bank details of the accounted donations over the four days made to the dedicated account of the Electronic Entertainment Pvt Ltd will be shared with the public too.  

Surpassing their 100,000 target, the fundraiser concluded with raising MVR 125,000 for the donation. The sponsor of the event, Ooredoo Maldives donated a generous amount to the event. E2S Gaming is very thankful to the partners and all participants who worked around the clock during the fundraising event. Close to everyone’s hearts, the team effort proved that Maldivians and Maldivian Gamers are with Palestine, contributing to relieving the hardships brothers and sisters of Palestine are going through during these tough times.
