Work Commenced to Upgrade Unused Land of M. Boduge to a Parking Zone

Yesterday, the newly elected mayor for Male’ City, Dr. Muizzu oversaw the commencing of the project to transform the backyard og M. Boduge to a parking zone. This initiation was in line with the city council’s efforts of catering to the growing demands for parking areas in the crowded city of Male’. 

Adjacent to a mosque, the free space will be renovated to level the ground with newly arranged brick layer. Ongoing work and the completed space will not interrupt the usage of the mosque, informed the council. Once completed, residents in the area can use the parking zone area, opening up road space on the narrow road.  

Mayor further highlighted that the council is analysis the free spaces available in Male’ for their plans on utilizing such spaces for the benefit of the residents.
