Construction Industry Stakeholders Reminded to Vaccinate Staff

MNACI has issued a statement urging the stakeholders to adapt to the new normal to the best possible, and to complete the vaccination of their workers at the soonest. Governing the largest representation of construction service providers, the Maldives National Association of Construction Industry makes it their priority to ensure that on-site health and safety is regulated up to international standards.

In 2010, the Maldives National Association of Construction Industry published a booklet of guidelines targeting the construction industry stakeholders. Titled ‘A guide to safety and health at construction sites’, this booklet outlines all safety precautions and procedures that must be followed at all times. It was further amended on May 6, 2021 under the initiative of providing proper and the most appropriate guidelines for construction service providers and workers to maintain the health and safety amid a global pandemic.

Further, President of MNACI, Mohamed Ali Najah urges everyone to follow the guidelines imposed by health authorities in making sure the recent concerning surge does not affect any member of the construction family.
