Maldives Inflight Catering Pte Ltd (MIC) is a joint venture of Maldives Airports Company Ltd and SATS Ltd

Maldives Inflight Catering pte ltd is a joint venture business formed by MACL with SATS (formerly known as Singapore Airport Terminal Services) in which MACL holds the major share. MIC was incorporated and domiciled in the Republic of Maldives on 2nd April 1988 and has been operating ever since.

The principal activities of Maldives Inflight Services limited are inflight kitchen operation, supply of cabin food and refreshments, providing catering services and hotel business. MIC operates Hulhule Island Hotel as a hotel in Male International Airport.

MIC caters to many airlines that operate its flights in Maldives. The catering customers of MIC are Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, British Airways, XL Airways, Transaero Airlines, Monarch Airlines, Condor, Air Berlin, Air China, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Aeroflot, Eurofly, Neos SpA, Thomson Airways, Air Italy, Austrian Airlines, Korean Air, Mega Maldives and Edelweiss Air.

Maldives inflight catering pvt ltd invested in hotel business in 2004 and operates a hotel in Hulhule with an investment of USD 1.9 million. It is fully owned and controlled by MIC and MACL is its major shareholder.
